Healthy Eating Cafe’s and Restaurants in Birmingham​

Last week I compiled a list of wholefood stores around the Birmingham area. As promised, this is part 2 where I have listed healthy Restaurants and Café’s also within the Birmingham area… Enjoy!

Says the are Birmingham’s only Indian Vegetarian Restaurant

They serve vegetarian dishes using fresh ingredients maintaining high-quality standards of food with a friendly atmosphere and good service. They also cater for Vegans and people with other dietary requirements.

Customers include TV-celebrity chefs Jamie Oliver, Antony Worrall-Thompson and Brian Turner.

Claims they are Birmingham’s original vegetarian restaurant and have just recently relocated to 57 Alison Street. They do a vegan Sunday roast.

Services also include providing catering facilities (including vegan meals) for your events. They also sell vegan cakes which are made onsite. Prices vary dependant on decoration and type. Options include a Vanilla buttercream filling, chocolate icing, carrot cake etc.

They offer a 100% vegan menu offering food that we love in ways we have not seen before. They use fresh, natural, wholesome ingredients. Their menu is cruelty free with eco-friendly packaging. They cook from scratch inhouse.

They provide trade direct organic coffee where they source their coffee direct from farmers and cut out the middleman.

They are currently running from two locations with a restaurant in Handsworth and Takeaway in West Bromwich.

All their food is suitable for vegetarians and a majority of it is suitable for vegans too. They make their pizza dough fresh everyday using soya-based ingredients and other vegetarian alternatives.

Window Box Cafe

They service wholesome, simple food. One of their most popular breakfast is avotoast which is smashed avocado on bread with a poached egg and chilli flakes.

They also have a large selection of loose leaf teas served in infuser teapots.
